Did someone turn the weird up in here? The other day, Jeremy and I were talking about how the planets are aligning and how out-of-whack things are, and will be. I did not agree until I actually sat down and thought about it.

Last week Maine had 2 days that hit 80 degrees, and that is really strange in March. Today is the Mega Millions drawing for a record amount of money. I heard it was over $540,000,000.00 and growing. I bought tickets, and went in on some with another person as well. Odds of winning are 1:176,000,000, but with how crazy everyone is getting with it, I wouldn’t be surprised if it went up to six hundred million, and split between a few winners.
Another few weird things happening in the small time state of Maine is, President Obama is visiting, and his second stop in his trip, he will be at the museum across the street from where Snoop Dogg will be doing a show tonight. Maybe some would not think this is weird, but being a native of the Mid Coast, that is a lot of excitement, especially for being so close. Since we are all gambling today, who wants to bet Snoop Dogg and President Obama hang out, if even just for a photo opportunity? I am honestly glad to be working. I would not want to be in that area during those times. The traffic would more than likely kill my car, if not, my brakes.
Speaking of my car, on the way home my car hit 111,111 miles. I do not know what that means, how it is relevant, why I was amused by this, or why I even shared that information, but it did. Before I even left work the day started out strange. My clients did not have their normal routine due to some stomach virus that is going around. People are apparently on antibiotics for two weeks just to get rid of it. I got sick yesterday as well, but I think I it was because the hummus I ate was bad. CHECK EXPIRATION DATES!! Haha!
Oh, and this is not weird or anything, I just want to give mad props to my gerbil, Cinnamon, who passed away yesterday. She was over three and a half years old and outlived all my other gerbils, even though she had the most problems when I adopted her. She was a sweet heart and will be missed by my mother and I very much. It is like the end of an era in a way. For 6 years I took in gerbils that needed homes, and Cinnamon was the last one. Three of them passed away last year, and they all made it to over the age of three. I learned a lot about them in that time and I can say that I will own more some day. They are fun and can be sweet if trained correctly. I never did learn about breeding, but that may be for the best. The best part about owning gerbils is, even though I would have as many as five at one time in a room, they still did not smell bad.
So I hope you all have a happy Mega Millions Friday, and good luck.
What would you do if you won $500,000,000? Let me know in the comment section.

As the weather in Maine gets more wacky, going from 80 degrees last week, to 19 degrees last night, you can expect everyone to be getting sick as we make the transition from Winter to Spring. I’ve been drinking my juice and getting into an exercise regimen, and I am hoping that will help in fighting off some unwanted germs.
I decided to start getting in gear to lose some weight. I got to be over 160 pounds and was completely unhappy and disgusted with myself. I didn’t feel well on the inside or the outside, my clothes were not fitting right, and my skin was horrible. I started easy by cutting out the junk food and having more self control with the cravings. Before I was shoveling food in my face almost every moment I was awake. Now that I have that under control a little more, I am starting to exercise. I have a new pedal bike that I am using, an exercise bike that my boyfriend gave me, new work out clothes, and a good attitude about it all. Where I am a smoker right now, the path is a little miserable if I work out hard, and I get winded easier, but I do not smoke before I work out and have no desire to smoke after I work out. I am hoping that will eventually lead to quitting all together. Replacing one habit for another seems to work for a couple of my friends, so why can’t it work for me, if I put the effort in. I have a better outlook and attitude about it this time, and I feel it could be a life changer. Having the moral support really helps as well. Between my parents and Jeremy, as well as a few friends, I have a great support system. I have lost 13 pounds so far, as of this morning.
This Spring is sure to be a busy one. The beginning of Spring is filled with lots of work, and the end of Spring is filled with more work and a few additional events. A wedding (not mine), a graduation party, Il Divo concert with my mom; I will be ready for some kind of Summer break.
Views by Bex is slowly gaining business with a few gigs booked for the Spring. I’ve had to put it on the back burner for a bit, just because of my school work and all the chaos that life tends to bring. Jeremy has moved in with me, his pup had passed away, my car died, I broke my tailbone; February was chaotic and bitter sweet. The ONLY good thing that really happened was Jeremy moving in. March has been pretty calm for us and ass we are soon to be in April, I expect that to move smoothly as well, as long as I keep everything routine. Life can really throw you a stink bomb, but it’s how you duck, cover, and recover that matters.
What do you do when life throws a bucket of cold water at you? Leave you comments in the comment section.

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you got a good start to your new year and all your resolutions. I personally did not make any new year resolutions, but am continuing my progress as a human being, which makes things…normal.
Lots of things have changed in my life and are continuing their transformation of my life. My school has continued, althrough I switched to part time, because there was just too much work for me to do more, on top of working and regular household upkeep. If you follow me on Twitter, you’d know that I have been dealing with a mouse issue. I went with the humane traps, they came back; I blocked off as many places I could find, they still came in. I brought my cats in from my mom’s house, they got one! The old fashion snap traps seem to be keeping them out of my cupboards and off my counters. My stove is completely ruined because of them getting into the insulation and leaving their nastiness all up in there. I can still use the stove top, but I cringe when I do. My water heater died and I had to get a new one, so once that is paid off, I plan to get a new stove. It might be the year to replace all of my appliances. The point, is that the mouse issue is being worked out and the number of mice has quickly decreased.
Another new thing in my life, I am happily committed in a loving relationship. We have been exclusive for almost 3 months now and are discussing moving in together. Financial reasons pushing us into the conversation, brought us to this decision, but we are excited about it, with normal concerns of course. He has a handsome German Shepard that I get along great with, and as I am writing this, he is laying next to me on the bed, snoring. I bought him some Angry Bird squeaky toys and he hasn’t stopped playing with them since he got them, almost a month ago.
The weather in Maine has been very mild. We have gotten some snow, but it has not stuck to the ground long enough to make much of a difference. There was a week in there so far that it got pretty messy, but we have about four or five days in a row that we will see forty degrees. That alone will melt the few inches we have on the ground. Most of the snow on the ground was fluffy, until it started melting. Now it is perfect snowman making snow. Clumpy, sticks together, it is the best snow for snowballs! I look forward to Spring, even though we still have a couple months to go.
Well, I am off to update my sites, do some school work, house work and run a few errands. I hope you all are having a safe and warm Winter. Leave a comment below telling me about how your new year started out.
Don’t forget to check out the Sweet Deals page to get your hands on the awesome deals I’ll be putting out there. Update frequently to check out the changes.

Hey everyone! I haven’t been on here since July and so much has happened. I’ve been busy with starting up my own business. Views by Bex, a photography and Social Media business that I am learning a lot from right now. And speaking of learning, I have enrolled and started college to get my associates in the Foundations of Business. I’m still working my full time job at a group home for people with mental retardation and/or mental illness and I’ll have been in this particular company for 3 years in February 2012. I’m sure I’ll be there until I make the transition to being able to support myself with Views by Bex.

Since my Florida trip I have been completely inspired by life and the Lord, Jesus Christ, which has made my life THAT much better. I’ve been more focused and making the necessary changes in my life to move up in the world and in self respect.

Another things keeping me busy is winterizing. Shrink wrapping my windows, putting plastic on the vents of my skirting, changing rooms around for optimal vent access and gerbil safety. The gerbils can’t be in direct draftiness, like the windows, and they can’t be close to the vent that blows heat up from the floor. I had to move the office/studio to where the bedroom use to be and I painted the new office. Well I still have a corner to finish, I ran out of paint and haven’t had time or money to go get more. Where the office is now it just makes sense, there’s a bathroom in there for changing if there’s a photo shoot here. This makes it so people won’t have to share a bathroom with my cat, Missy, and it separates my personal area with the business area. My Aunt and Uncle have a desk they are giving me, as soon as I find a truck and some muscles to move it. I’ll be able to concentrate better on school and my business when I finish getting the office back to normal.

The Holidays will no doubt be busy so I’m not 100% sure when I will make it back to posting on here or You Tube. Hopefully sooner than I think. I hope you all are having a fantastic end to your 2011.

I’ve made it to Florida where I was greeted by my cousin Mitzi, who picked me up at the airport. We came back to her house, I got the grand tour, re-met her daughters and WENT TO CHURCH! I know that seems a little unlike me, but I had a good time, singing, praying. I use to go to church but easily got bored with what we have in Maine. Now if they had something like City of Life in Maine, I wouldn’t have stopped going. It was a powerful message that really hit home and I was actually getting emotional. So maybe this is a path I need to explore more. After church we came back to the house Mitzi and I got our chat on. We haven’t seen each other in a long time and that time was short and I was 16 and had a friend with me. I was in snobville at that point. So technically we were just getting to know each other. I went to bed around 11:30 and had no problems passing out. I didn’t sleep long, but when do I ever really?
On another good note, it’s so warm here, but yet I can wear almost anything I want because I don’t believe I’ve been in one place here that hasn’t been air conditioned. Totally love it. Cute shoe season all year long, now that is my dream come dream. That and an endless supply of cute shoes.
Today I don’t have too much planned. Look at the job market, housing. Call a few places. Call my Mom. For now it’s time to get int he shower, find my makeup (I lost half of it) and maybe even do a You Tube video. Everyone might get bored or sad watching all the Vidcon videos. That’s where I was suppose to be this weekend. I just couldn’t afford it this year and tickets were sold out by the time I could. I’ve had a hard time watching any of my You Tube subs just because of that. I got a little emotional about that one. I will miss all my YT friends though and I hope you all have a great time. Send me some shout outs. XOXO
What’s the funnest thing you’ve done so far this Summer? Leave your answers in the comment section.

On this day 5 years ago my Niece was born and changed all of our lives forever. Today we had a mini party for her at the house and it was kind of emotional for me. I’ll explain that later. I came late because I didn’t know she was going to be at my Mom’s house. It was a last minute thing and I was asleep when they called because of working the night before. She was opening the toys she had just unwrapped before I got there and the excitement of opening more was the last thing on her mind. She opened the things I got her and was happy about them, but it was hot and had already been a long day. She was in the 5 year old brat mode by that time but still I wanted 10 of her. It would be a miracle to have a child as cool as her.

And now the emotional part of it all. I have such a connection with her, it makes the choice I am about to make really hard. Financially I can’t live in Maine on my own anymore. I spend all Summer catching up with last Winter’s costs since that tree fell on my house and depleted my savings/backup money. Add the bad economy in a small town and low paying jobs to the mix and it’s disaster for a single person. Unless of course you’re male or a super strong lady. Or of course college educated, which I’m not. There’s no kind of assistance for people in my situation and I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with special people around me that help me out.

This all leads me to the choices I have to make. Next week I am going down to Florida to stay with my cousin, look for a job and see if I can really take it in that area. Do I want to move? Absolutely not! Do I have to? Pretty much if I’m going to learn to survive on my own. It’s become really important to me over the years and possibly even held me back from forming a relationship, but I need to know I’ll be fine after my Parents are gone and if that special guy leaves one day. Is that neurotic?

What are some of the biggest choices you’ve had to make and what did you do? Leave your comment below.

I have a day off where I don’t have to do anything until this evening when I become a guest on the Monstah McNasty show. So what have I done today? Laundry, mopping, started watching Glee from the beginning. I also worked on my business website and paid bills. I meant to make it to the town office today but that didn’t happen. I was too into watching Glee. It’s so much better when you watch episdes back to back. You notice things that you usually don’t pick up on when you have a week between episodes.

I’m glad I could take the day off to breath and get things done. There’s only so much stress you can take when you’re surrounded by piles of laundry and house work that you’ve been meaning to get to, but get distracted by something else.

Finally I got a day off. I’ll end up working on the new business later this evening I’m sure but I’m spending the afternoon with one of my best friends, Jen. I haven’t seen her in a while and she finally has a day off and a babysitter so we are going to bang our heads on the table together for a while. I’ve known Jen for years. We can go a long time without talking but still come together like we didn’t miss a beat. I have one other friend that I can be that way with. Lately, it seems like those are the only people you can fully trust. My favorite memory of things Jen and I have done, was when we skipped school one winter day. They must have been doing pictures or something for the yearbook because both of us were wearing skirts. We did our normal routine of skipping, leave when class gets out and walk through the track field, jump over the fence and take the trails to her house. Silly us, no plowing was done on that field, we were in skirts and we still had to hop the fence. As a mental picture, she’s tall, I’m short, skirts caught on the fence. Thankfully no one else skipped with us that day.

I feel like I’m ready to pass out, which means I need to stop looking at this computer screen and do something so I don’t pass out before Jen gets here. I did that to her one time. I felt horrible, but she understood.

What’s your favorite best friend memory? Leave a comment.

I forgot my phone at home and I have a little while before I can go it, but I found wi-fi so I figured I would write a blog since I had my computer on me.

I’m proud to announce that I am starting my own business!!! Photography, Videography and Social Networking Services, but more of a focus on the first of the two. Though I still don’t have a name, so I’m at a roadblock there, but that is small potatoes compared to the things that could go wrong. I’m not focusing on that at the moment, it’s mostly thinking about classes I need to take and licenses I need to get. If there are any small business owners that have any tips, please do let me know what you know. If you have any suggestions for names, I’ll always accept help there.

I look forward to the day I can hire an accountant as well. I really hate numbers! The only numbers I like are 1-75 on a bunch of bingo cards. I’ll deal and adapt, I’ll have to.

If you could start you own business from the ground up, what would it be? If you’re already a business owner, what do you do? Leave a comment below.

Anyone else getting obsessive over the murder of Kaylee Anthony? With all the different stories going around it’s hard to catch up if you’re not following it day in and out. It’s a mystery that will likely never be solved but we strive as a country to understand. My computer is constantly on HLN’s website. I’m starting to think this sexual abuse to Casey is right as well. Perhaps that George Anthony is part of the equation some how isn’t a far fetched idea either. If the police department really did know about the body’s location ahead of time, I will find it almost impossible to think otherwise.
There’s so much evidence now, but the defense is chipping it’s way down through the pile and getting things thrown out. In some ways it makes me hate law just because of the technicalities.
What are your thoughts on the case and all the evidence? Leave a comment.
